The Program

Project Management provides a solid base for the success of an organization, helping them to execute organization’s business strategies efficiently and effectively. Moving from an accidental profession, today, Project Management has become a profession of choice by many professionals across various industries. The executive master degree in Project Management is expected to produce skilled and qualified project leaders and contribute to the society with an increased rate of project success and efficiency.

Objectives

It is expected that the students of Executive MSC in Project Management will acquire the skills required by a Project Manager to initiate, plan, execute, monitor and control, and close the project, with complete understanding of the project management process, framework, tools and techniques and the application of Global Standards in Project Management.

Program will also focus on interpersonal skills including communication, leadership and decision making to ensure it builds excellent leaders in project management.

Program Delivery Schedule:

• Allowing flexibility for working students it will be delivered on Saturdays from 1.30p.m to 5.30p.m

Modules 30 Credits and 120 Learning Hours

1. Project Management Theory and Practice (3 Credits)
2. Implementing Project Management Standards, Tools & Techniques (3 Credits)
3. Project Organization, Governance and Business Strategy (3 Credits)
4. Leading and Managing Project Teams (3 Credits)
5. Interpersonal Skills for Project Managers (3 Credits)
6. Fundamentals in Finance for Project Managers (3 Credits)
7. Project Procurement Management (3 Credits)
8. Business Reserach Methods (3 Credits)
9. Research Project (6 Credits) - to be completed within 3 - 4 months

Bachelor’s Degree or Over 25 years of age with 3 years Working rience in Executive or Managerial Level.

Course Fee: LKR 165,000

Course Fee (Option 2)

When paid on module basis
1. Initial Payment
    University Registration Fee: US$ 100 + Module Fee LKR 24,000
2. Balance Payment: LKR 24,000 x 7 modules = LKR 168,000
